The challenge

The quiz asked good questions and then ignored the answers

The quiz was already live and already converting visitors into leads. What happened next was the problem: one sequence, sent to everyone, regardless of what they had just told the business about their sleep.

A lead who answers six questions expects the next email to reflect them. When it doesn't, the business looks like it wasn't listening, which is an expensive impression in health.

What we built

Five mutually exclusive profiles, five journeys

Quiz responses are scored into exactly one of five profiles. Each profile has its own first email, sent the same day, then its own follow-up sequence across nine days. Gender-specific variants branch again inside each path.

Testing

A nine-day journey, tested in under an hour

A multi-day sequence is normally tested by waiting multi-days, which means it ships untested. We built a duplicate of the whole journey with the waits compressed to roughly 30 seconds, so every path could be walked end to end while the client watched.

All five paths were tested. One routing rule sent the wrong profile down the wrong branch, which was found and corrected before launch rather than after.

The old audit-booking automation was then switched off, so leads could not end up in two sequences at once. The test workflow was disabled the same day the production one went live.

Five of five paths tested. Each walked end to end on the accelerated clock.

One routing fault found. Profile 1 was reaching the wrong sequence. Fixed before launch.

Legacy automation retired. The previous post-quiz flow was disabled, not left running alongside.

The result

Every lead now gets the journey their answers asked for

The client tested the finished system herself before sign-off, then left a 5-star review. Every lead who takes the quiz now receives the sequence their own answers selected, on the day they take it, instead of one message written for everyone.

What shipped

  • 5 profiles, scored from the quiz, mutually exclusive
  • 5 first-day emails, one per profile
  • Follow-ups on days 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, branching again by gender
  • All 5 paths walked end to end before launch
  • 1 routing fault found and fixed before launch
  • The previous post-quiz automation retired, not left running
